Mt Krakatau

Hello Readers!

I believe many of you do not know what Mt. Krakatau is, which is why I will be making a blog on the history of this volcano. But there are other reasons to why I am making this blog. This famous volcano is located in the middle of Java and Sumatra.

By now, you would be asking what makes this volcano so special? This is because this volcano is not in existence any more. The volcano perished in the year 1883 due to eruptions and brought down with it most of the island. As you can see in this photo:

( Anak Krakatau means Child of Krakatau. This is because after Krakatau perished, Anak Krakatau was discovered, thus naming it the child of Krakatau.)
